SCOPE AND CONTENT
The collection contains images from Italy, England, France, Greece, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Turkey and Palestine.
The main subjects are works of art, antiquities and architecture. The collection further includes city views, landscapes and folklore scenes.
For most of the images the photographer has not been identified.

ARRANGEMENT AND PROCESSING INFORMATION
The six albums are arranged topographically:

  1. Florence: paintings, sculptures, etc.
  2. Austria and Germany
  3. Scotland and England
  4. England II
  5. Spain and Portugal
  6. Russia - Switzerland - Tyrol - Greece - Turkey - Palestine

The entire collection has been digitized.

EXTENT
Six large albums with prints (various sizes) glued onto cardboard: 1,101 albumen prints; seven photogravures; one platinum print; 43 prints of unidentified process; and 39 unmounted albumen prints.
